Targeting Analyst and Instructor, Senior

As a Targeting Analyst and Instructor, you use your specialized technical experience and your attention to detail to develop training to support your client’s essential mission. As a Targeting Analyst and Instructor, you will apply a broad understanding and leverages all sources of information, which includes INTs, open-source material, law enforcement data, and other government data and information, on a specific topic or target. Use structured methodologies and techniques appropriate to the topic and applies specialized subject matter expertise to guide efforts. Develop products tailored to customers who range from tactical to strategic levels, including actionable leads, complex written products, and formal or informal briefings. Drafts recommendations and maintains proficiency in the latest tradecraft. Provide work leadership for lower-level employees.

You will also support your client by conducting targeting and target analysis instruction in support of theater requirements and in accordance with established course curriculum and outlines. Provide intermediate-level targeting analysis training to junior and mid-level analysts supporting target development. Conduct training on government sites, using government-provided courseware, and deliver instruction to students that effectively addresses the principles that support the weaponeering process. You'll demonstrate an understanding of how to properly navigate the Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual (JMEM) Air-to-Surface Weaponeering Guide and JMEM Weaponeering System (JWS) tools. You'll provide training in intermediate and advanced target development using government-provided courses. Describe, demonstrate, and reinforce probabilities for weaponeering results, how weaponeering estimates support targeting, and explain the process for producing weaponeering estimates. You'll demonstrate Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) expertise and apply the policies and guidance within the INDOPACOM AOR. You'll conduct training using government provided CDE courseware and provide expertise to junior and mid-level CDE analysts. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment

  • 5+ years of experience with targeting analysis, including Target System Analysis, Intermediate Target Development, Advance Target Development, and Combat Assessment

  • 4+ years of experience with CDE

  • 4+ years of experience with targeting and target analysis processes and tools, including JTCG/ME, JMEM JWS tools, and the JMEM Air-to-Surface Weaponeering Guide

  • 4+ years of experience with Digital Imagery Exploitation Engine (DIEE)

  • 4+ years of experience with methods and techniques of instruction

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Associate’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with targeting and intelligence operations within the INDOPACOM and Intelligence Community

  • 4+ years of experience as a joint or service-level targeting trainer or instructor

  • 2+ years of experience with targeting in the INDOPACOM AOR

  • 2+ years of experience with TCM

  • 2+ years of experience with SOCET GXP and RemoteView

  • 2+ years of experience with UTAS/IMEA

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience working in a professional environment

  • Joint or Service-level Instructor Certification or Joint, Service-level, or Commercial Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
