We’re looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications, websites, as well as IT systems and products. Working with your team of architects, developers, business analysts, DevSecOps engineers, data scientists and alongside project managers and security specialists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to mission users and clients.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with gathering, decomposing, and documenting functional requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in working with issue tracking and requirements management systems, including JIRA

  • 2+ years of experience creating, modifying, and managing Jira projects, workflows, dashboards, and user groups

  • 2+ years of experience with functional testing, writing test documentation and executing functional tests

  • Experience with providing support to Agile delivery, including help with backlog maintenance, sprint planning, and release planning

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools

  • Ability to work on a multi discipline team, including engineers, security specialists, and project managers, and facilitate formal and informal discussions with clients and users to capture requirements

  • Ability to create mock ups, wire frames, and activity diagrams

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a technical writer

  • Experience as a software tester or test engineer

  • Experience with IT strategy and communications

  • Experience with Web content management

  • Experience with Agile SAFE

  • Knowledge of CMMI or maturity models

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
