DevOps Engineer, Mid

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience working with big data in live production environments serving millions of users while developing software that will provide data transparency to the American public. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps in a cloud environment

  • 2+ years of experience with Python

  • 2+ years of experience in integrating CI/CD pipelines with Jira and Confluence

  • 2+ years of experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Ansible

  • Experience with AWS

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with architecting and developing automated orchestration of Node.js and Java applications in Azure and AWS cloud environments

  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools

  • Experience with working in an Agile environment and cross-functional teams

  • Experience with architecting environments for continuous integration, deployment, and continuous monitoring

  • Experience in working with big data applications, data lakes, or DataOps

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • AWS Cloud Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000 to 120,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors
