The Challenge:

We have an opportunity for you to use your leadership and analytical skills to improve Naval Mine Warfare Experimentation. You’ll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, develop data collection and analysis plans, and then assist in collection of data during tactical experimentation. You’ll develop the metrics used to quantify exercise results, build exercise data collection plans, support analysis teams in the conduct of statistical trend analysis on sensor, systems, weapons and counter-measure data, and analyze exercise results to ascertain system performance and tactical effectiveness, using the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help Naval leaders make informed decisions. You’ll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with Navy operations

• 4+ years of experience in Defense-related operations research, operations analysis, applied mathematics, or statistical analysis

• Experience using analytical software tools, including MATLAB or Statistical Analysis System (SAS)

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including underway on Navy vessels and aircraft

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in Naval Mine Warfare

• 2+ years of experience leading analysis teams

• Experience solving complex technical problems

• Certification in data analytics or data science

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
