Pricing Analyst

Key Role:

Provide pricing support to simple and complex cost proposals for the firm. Support analyses and strategy development for high visibility procurements, including ensuring compliance with the firm's estimating systems. Design, develop, and prepare cost models and cost proposals and provide guidance and counsel to clients on all aspects of proposal preparation, including market, wage analyses, request for proposal (RFP) analysis, federal acquisition regulations (FARs), cost accounting standards (CAS), disclosure and compliance issues, terms, pricing strategies, business risks, and cost proposal content. Research and conduct competitive analyses. Review and check the work of fellow analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ months of experience in a professional working environment

-Experience with pricing analysis

-Experience with modeling in Excel

-Knowledge of the FARs, the government acquisition process, and the difference between cost and price

-Ability to analyze and communicate effectively with senior leadership

-Ability to work flexible hours in a deadline driven environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with professional services or systems development proposals

-Experience in the consulting services environment

-Experience with Microsoft Word, including PowerPoint and Access

-Cost Estimating, Contract Management, or Proposal Management Certification
