Synthetic Aperture Radar Instructor, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and deliver Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) training to live audiences. Provide stand-up classroom and virtual instruction. Apply and comprehend specific SAR phenomenology, leverage analytical expertise, and working/general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as well as insight into future SAR products and capabilities. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees. This position will require travel within and outside the US up to 50% of the time to accommodate client needs and is located in Springfield, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with instruction
  • Experience in working with or instructing synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
  • Experience with RemoteView or SOCET GXP
  • Experience with Mensuration Services Program (MSP)
  • Experience in GEOINT analysis with a focus on multiple sensors and their capabilities
  • Ability to instruct classroom sizes of 20+ students both in person and virtually
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to instruct classes 1-2 weeks at a time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience with instruction in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with DIVA and Sarmulator
