CBRN Program Specialist

Key Role:

Apply expertise in US Government and DoD CWMD and CBRN programs to support requirements and make recommendations on readiness and execution in the theater. Provide subject matter expertise to analyze readiness and CWMD program funding requirements to make recommendations on initiatives and programs in support of the mission. Participate in the development, tracking, management, execution, and reporting of CBRN and CWMD spending plans. This position will require international travel up to 10% of the year.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with the military or DoD at a Service Headquarters, Service Component Headquarters, or Combatant Command
  • 3+ years of experience in conducting complex analyses in CWMD mission areas
  • Experience with analyzing CWMD program funding requirements and making recommendations on initiatives and programs in support of the CWMD mission
  • Experience with conducting Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership, and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) reviews of all Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents
  • Knowledge of the Defense Readiness Reporting System
  • Ability to parse information into useable information on Combatant Command CBRN readiness
  • Ability to create reports, briefings, and documents, including at the Flag, General, or SES level, and deliver them with client-ready quality
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with coordinating CBRN readiness between the DoD and its counterpart agencies
  • Experience in designing and conducting comprehensive studies
  • Knowledge of Operational Research techniques and Assessments metrics
  • Ability to expertly analyze the impact on war plans, theater engagement, and activities associated with CWMD issues
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
