Cyberspace Security Cooperation Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Supports coordination, planning, and execution activities to build allies and partner nation cyber capability and capacity. Leverages cyber operations, policy, and cybersecurity domain knowledge to identify areas where cyberspace security cooperation solutions, as aligned to the client's mission and that of foreign ally or partner, can be applied. Applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; works closely with foreign Ministry of Defense and their Cyber Command as well as U.S. embassy and country team leadership and U.S. cyber stakeholder organizations. Analyze innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction takes initiative to understand policies and guidelines applicable to the client organization and those across the U.S. security cooperation enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations centers, incident response centers, threat hunt missions, defensive cyberspace operations, cybersecurity compliance, or cybersecurity tools and best practices, cyber policy, doctrine, and strategy

  • Ability to work independently, trouble shoot problems, interact and collaborate as part of a team, conduct action officer-level duties, present oral briefings and presentations

  • Ability to travel internationally at 25%

  • Ability to complete an online Security Cooperation 101 course prior to start

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with security cooperation or Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with U.S. military cyberspace operations

  • Knowledge of European spoken foreign language proficiency

  • Completion of security cooperation focused coursework Certification through the Defense Security Cooperation Agency
