Defense Readiness Reporting System Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Provide Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) management and expertise to facilitate client decision-making pertaining to readiness of forces. Enable accurate and timely data inputs for various units through desk-side and more formalized training. Produce briefings and reports without supervision as directed to inform senior leaders including the Commander, of DRRS status and conclusions drawn from the system about Command readiness in all reportable areas. Promote collaboration and integration across the Command, its Directorates, and Components, to ensure the Command is appropriately postured to report readiness, and to make readiness-related decisions based on the Defense Readiness Reporting System inputs and outputs. Deliver exercise events that allow clients to discuss process initiatives and confirm viability and events that allow clients to physically practice and execute processes to confirm efficiency and understanding of performance and output expectations. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with providing training expertise to defense organizations
  • 3+ years of experience with working on DRRS problem sets
  • Knowledge of how to execute training readiness and operations events at the component level
  • Ability to communicate processes and programs to new users who are unfamiliar with DRRS
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior military or government leaders
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree
