Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Technology Enabled Research Analyst

Key Role:
​Perform collection, exploitation, analysis, and dissemination of signals intelligence, including communications, electronic, and foreign instrumentation signals intelligence. Leverage expertise in SIGINT, EW, and Spectrum data and information, analyze and identify data requirements, use specialized SIGINT, EW, and Spectrum tools and services, and develop SIGINT, EW, and Spectrum products. Solve advanced, complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. Acquire, validate, maintain, and scope data systematically to uncover schemes and scenarios that will provide historical conclusions and correlations to future events. Prepare polished assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analysis of open source and discovery tradecraft. Learn, apply, and promulgate emerging technologies to process metadata and content for discovery purposes. Provide analytical support for the development of SIGINT, EW, and Spectrum policy.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with Electro-Magnetic Spectrum (EMS), SIGINT, or Cyberspace operations, training, planning, requirements, or analysis

-Knowledge of national, DoD, and Joint guidance on EMS, SIGINT, or Cyberspace, including unified command plan responsibilities and Joint Force operations

-Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and techniques for EMS, SIGINT, or Cyberspace

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with wargaming or exercises for EMS, SIGINT, or Cyberspace operations

-Knowledge of processes and procedures for the development, implementation, and execution of operation plans and orders, including the DoD and its structures and relationships, Joint Staff, and inter-agency structures and relationships

-Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analyses techniques and provide analytical methodology and reasoning to assess complex problems or define and clarify alternative solutions

-Ability to use data from models and tools to facilitate findings, as required

-Ability to organize and lead teams tasked to originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies

-Ability to execute projects and studies within established time constraints

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to negotiate complex issues and maintain good working relations

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
