Graphic Designer

Key Role:

Design and develop complex graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials, manuals, and publications. Operate computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, and charts. Operate equipment for the design and production of photos and videotape, including video and cameras. Formulate concepts and render illustrations and details from models, sketches, memory, written and verbal instructions, and imagination. Select graphic type, draw lettering, and lay out material. Determine style, technique, and medium best suited to produce required effects and conform with reproduction requirements. Provide work leadership for junior level employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience as a graphic designer or art director

-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative suite

-Knowledge of graphic design principals and techniques in the intelligence community (IC)

-Ability to create visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner

-Ability to work in a dynamic environment with limited instruction

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working with senior level clients

-Knowledge of Africa and its unique problem sets

-Ability to work in both a team environment and individually

-BA or BS degree in Art, Creative Media, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field

Clearance:
