IT Specialist

The Challenge:

As an information technology project manager on our team, you’ll help your client provide technical, administrative, and operational management of new IT projects to support Command priorities. Using your comprehensive understanding of various project management tools, you’ll research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization's efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization. As the authority on IT, your client will look to you to conduct requirements analysis and prepare specific proposals for modified or replacement systems. You’ll translate customer IT requirements into highly specified project briefs. This is a chance to work closely with colleagues, developers, testers, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction of intelligence IT systems. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have:

-6+ years of experience with supporting IT systems planning, installation, or configuration

-2+ years of experience with budget planning and project management

-Experience in working with coalition partners to develop IT solutions for intelligence problems

-Experience in engaging with senior government and military leaders

-TS/SCI clearance

-AA or AS degree and 7+ years of experience with IT, BA or BS degree and 2+ years of experience with IT, or 10+ years of experience with IT in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with working IT at Combatant Commands or Joint Staff

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent research and interpersonal skills
