Information Operations Planner

Key Role:

Serve as a military Information Operations (IO) planner within a Combatant Command directorate. Conduct deliberate and contingency planning, analysis of functional plan development, validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and Interagency. Serve as a lead for IO and OPSEC collaboration and initiatives. Provide quality, relevant input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports. Apply expertise in IO doctrine, operations, policy, and authority and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. Conduct and validate research and analysis, prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with strategic or operational planning

-5+ years of experience with information operations, including all information-related capabilities

-Experience with briefing senior leadership
-Experience with solving complex problems

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with security cooperation planning preferred
-Experience with operations in the European AOR preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree preferred

-Army Functional Area 30 training or Service Equivalent preferred


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
