Intelligence Planner

Key Role:

Serve as a senior-level intelligence planner supporting US Africa Command (USAFRICOM) to develop, coordinate, and execute USAFRICOM and DoD campaign plans. Coordinate with and support the intelligence requirements of USAFRICOM directorates, interagency representatives, and representatives of national agencies on multiple facets of planning and support. Direct intelligence planning, develop internal strategies, prepare intelligence products required under the Joint Planning Process, and provide guidance to resolve planning problems. Provide intelligence planning support to exercise design, development, coordination, and Joint exercise control group processes for USAFRICOM and component-level exercises. Develop and integrate intelligence concepts, issues, functional sub-architectures, implementation plans, concepts of operations, and similar exercise-related deliverables. Direct, assign, and account for exercise tasks and requirements in support of Joint exercise control groups and plan of action or milestone requirements. Evaluate plans and coordinate and develop Combatant Command and component exercise intelligence scenarios to ensure accomplishment of specific exercise training objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Joint military planning, operations, or all source intelligence

-5+ years of experience in a business environment and leveraging writing, briefing, and organizational expertise

-Knowledge of the intelligence planning cycle or Joint intelligence preparation of the environment

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-MA or MS degree preferred
