Key Role:

Apply intelligence planning expertise to ensure integration of threat warning between the Commander and senior staff, Joint Staff, Defense Intelligence Enterprise, Intelligence Community, Service Components, Joint Task Forces, and Interagency partners. Provide threat warning intelligence plans support to contingency, crisis, and future operations. Develop dynamic and campaign intelligence operations, actions, and investments to satisfy Priority Intelligence Requirements and threat warning indicators. Integrate national, defense, and theater-level threat warning capabilities to achieve national defense objectives. Develop and guide intermediate objectives to achieve future joint warfighter and threat warning concepts. Apply intelligence planning tradecraft in the development of joint strategy, plans, and warning problems.

Basic Qualifications: 

• 15+ years of experience with writing, product development, and briefing in a business environment
• 15+ years of experience with joint military strategy, planning, operations, or intelligence 
• Knowledge of the Commanders Decision Cycle, Intelligence Cycle, and Joint Planning Process 
• Knowledge of cross-functional approaches to joint military staff organization 
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications: 

• Experience leading a cross-functional joint military staff organization 
• Experience developing and implementing processes to enable joint military staff decision-making 
• Bachelor’s degree
• Joint Intelligence or Joint Operations Planning training or certification 
• Threat or Defense Warning training or certification ​
