Irregular Warfare and Unconventional Warfare Planning SME

Key Role:

Conduct detailed Irregular Warfare / Unconventional Warfare (IW/UW) planning to support achievement of overarching Theater Campaign Plan objectives.  Produce clear, concise and effective IW/UW plans and orders.  Provide IW and UW doctrine, operations, policy and authorities Subject Matter Expertise and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making.  Maintain routine interface with selected Allies and Partners to develop and improve key partner IW/UW plans and capabilities. Facilitate key partner IW/UW capability development with Allied/Partner representatives during conduct of focused workshops and conferences. Conduct and validates research and analysis, prepares information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with irregular warfare (IW) or unconventional warfare (UW) authorities as an industry or government professional or 5+ years of experience with specialized military work
  • Experience in conducting preparation of the environment activities and sensitive activities programs and advising, assisting, and accompanying roles with partner nations
  • Experience working in Europe theater
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC) Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with specialized military groups
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Master’s degree
