Joint Spectrum Management Operations Spectrum Manager

Key Role:
Support the integration of spectrum management and Cyberspace activities into planning as they pertain to a Combatant Command. Integrate spectrum management into Joint training objectives for exercise planning. Coordinate and support the client with electromagnetic interference resolution. Employ spectrum management information to promote understanding of the Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE). Provide support to a client office, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Joint functions at the operational, strategic, or national level

-Knowledge of analytical work at the strategic or operational level

-Knowledge of telecommunications and electromagnetic spectrum management concepts and principles

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing a Joint Restricted Frequency List

-Experience with Electromagnetic Spectrum operations

-Experience with the Joint Spectrum Data Repository

-Experience with Cyberspace operations and planning

-Experience with a Major or Combatant Command

-Experience with Joint doctrine

-Experience with Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution

-Experience with Joint Doctrine Note 3-16, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations

-Experience with CJCSI 3320.01 series, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations

-Knowledge of SATCOM and GPS threats

-Knowledge of a wide range of telecommunications and electromagnetic spectrum management techniques, practices and automated tools used to review or process radio frequency requests

-Knowledge of Joint Spectrum Interference reporting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills
