The Challenge:
Leverage knowledge of military community information and processes to work with minimal supervision as part of an innovative team in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment to ensure rapid dissemination and logical storage of information, both within and across U.S. government stovepipes. Maintain and improve dissemination weblog portals on multiple networks, SharePoint portals that perform various functions, team collaboration and communications tools, and shared calendars. Work to automate manual processes, as appropriate and create and maintain data collection forms to collect and channel information, as needed. Produce quarterly and annual reports that include web portal access statistics, product downloads, metrics related to training, and other services supplied by the team and manage processes and workflows to track and improve team efficiency and effectiveness. As the knowledge manager, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like open source research and automation. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring.
You Have:
-5+ years of experience with working in a DoD or intelligence community setting
-2+ years of experience with knowledge management
-Experience in collaborative environments and records management and metadata
-Experience with developing SOPs and ‘How To’ documentation
-Experience with training the end user and Content Managers SharePoint basics and fundamentals
-Experience in working with clients, stakeholders, and end users to obtain requirements
-Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and the full suite of MS Office tools
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with graphic design
-Experience with User Interface or User Design experience (UIX)
-Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and QlikSense
