Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture Program Manager

Key Role:
Operate with minimal supervision to attend meetings on the US government client's behalf and advise on any developments or actions that require attention. Consolidate, track, and manage Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) program requirements in support of US European Command (EUCOM) for their geographic regions and report on a quarterly basis. Provide oversight to ensure the command uses mandated procedures to identify the LREC capability requirements needed to support steady state and surge activities and identify LREC requirements for operational planning documents. Coordinate with EUCOM staff and supporting commands to ensure existing billets are appropriately coded and provide sourcing recommendations, as required. Provide support services to a EUCOM-hosted annual workshop to identify and prioritize LREC capability requirements for new scenarios, missions, or tasks. Conduct staff reviews of both new and existing capability requirements and report those needs once validated and endorsed by command leadership. Participate in the Defense Language Action Panel and the Defense Language Steering Committee.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with project management

-2+ years of experience with managing a language or culture program

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Professional Project Management (PMP) Certification preferred

Clearance:
