Logistics Support Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct life cycle supportability analysis, planning, and project execution for the acquisition, modification, or upgrade of weapons and information systems or equipment. Conduct planning support for deployment and operational sustainment by assessing techniques to plan, coordinate, and synchronize the movement of material, people, and commodities from source to destination. Support clients in implementing Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, including design interfacing, sustaining engineering providing supply support, maintenance planning and management, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), technical data, support equipment, training and training support, manpower and personnel, facilities and infrastructure, and computer resources. Analyze distribution plans and operations in a complex, dynamic environment to improve velocity, costs, and unique customer requirements. Develop in-transit asset visibility solutions, including analyzing and optimizing load plans, cargo scheduling, mode selection, and packaging. Support modeling and simulation techniques to forecast transportation, shipping, and receiving requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

​-10+ years of experience with military or government logistics

-5+ years of experience with Joint logistics operations and planning

-Experience in Acquisition and Cross Servicing Agreements (ACSA), Mutual Logistics Support Agreements (MLSA) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with allies and partners

-Experience with Host Nation negations

-Knowledge of logistics methodologies

-Ability to interact with senior government and political officials from European Nations

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with European AOR operations

-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree

-Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies or Service equivalent

-Completion of Command and General Staff College training or equivalent
