Maritime Analyst

As a maritime analyst, you use your specialized technical experience and your attention to detail to develop products and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.

As a maritime analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your understanding of maritime, you’ll support maritime-related issues with a specific focus on foreign navies, asymmetric maritime threats, and special operation requirements. You’ll validate the information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters and policymakers. As the authority on your problem set, the client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in maritime specific intelligence, and share your methodologies with other professionals. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in working or coordinating with maritime operational intelligence centers
  • Experience in analyzing foreign navies and asymmetric maritime threats through all-source analysis with a heavy focus on SIGINT
  • Experience in assessing and evaluating geopolitics and security issues
  • Experience with IC analytical writing standards, product development, and brief delivery
  • Ability to travel throughout Europe to facilitate cooperation with other team countries
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) or other military forces, capabilities, and operations
  • Ability to brief client leadership and colleagues succinctly on the results of the research
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BA or BS degree
