The Challenge:
Critical decisions are made every single day in the military. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As a Military Information Support Operations (MISO) planner, you use your specialized technical skills and experience and your attention to detail to develop products to give your client the information and expertise they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.
As a MISO planner, you’ll help your client understand their information environment. You’ll serve as lead for a Combatant Command's MISO program, conduct deliberate and contingency MISO planning, functional plan development and validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and US government interagency. You’ll provide quality input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports and provide MISO doctrine, operations, policy, and authorities subject matter expertise and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. You’ll conduct and validate research and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our warfighters.
