Operational Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a strategic planner supporting special access programs (SAP) for European Command. Work within established policies and program objectives to support senior leadership and will draw from and aggregate multiple and varied sources of classified and unclassified information, integrate the insights of numerous Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and apply high standards of analytic tradecraft to build, brief, and implement plans to meet the Command's overall strategy. Apply advanced consulting skills and technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; may mentor and supervise team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with fusing all-source intelligence into high-level analytic products supporting OPLANS and other planning documents, Intelligence Annexes, and Appendices
  • 5+ years of experience with strategic and operational level intelligence support.
  • 5+ years of experience with drafting GCC and above level intelligence estimates
  • 2+ years of experience in developing priority intelligence requirements and managing production and requirements management products
  • Knowledge of Structured Analytic Techniques and Red Teaming
  • Ability to utilize information from multiple and varied sources to assess, interpret, and explain a development, discovery, or policy conundrum to GO/FO and Senior-level planners
  • TS/SCI security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualification:

  • Experience with counterintelligence analysis and production
  • Experience with intelligence support to Information Operations (IO), CI/HUMINT targeting, or Force Protection
  • Experience with supporting Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Knowledge of USEUCOM OPLANs and CONPLANs
  • Knowledge of the Defense Intelligence Analysis Program (DIAP) structure and processes
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BS degree in International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Economics or related field of study preferred, MS degree in International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Economics or related field of study a plus
