The Challenge:
For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions. As a platform Qlik architect, you can turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. In this role, you will work closely with senior level executive customers and action officers to understand their questions and dig into their data-rich environment to discover the missing pieces in the information puzzle through developing algorithms, writing scripts, building predictive analytics, maximizing automation, applying machine learning, and combining tools and frameworks to turn disparate data points into objective answers that help our client make informed decisions.
As a data architect on our client's platform team, you will use the power of their analytical and leadership skills to assist and improve the client's Incident Response product line, utilizing your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions. You’ll work closely with teams that develop algorithms, scripts, predictive analytics, automation, machine learning, and the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help military leaders make informed decisions. You’ll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered. You'll work on a multi-functional team made up of analysts, developers, data scientists, and a team lead that collaborates in support of a specific mission. This position may require shift work in the event of a contingency operation, such as a natural disaster, where days are split into 8-10 hour shifts supporting 24/7 operations and additional support is brought in to help the team.
