Security Assistance Initiative Program Analyst

Key Role:

Provide analytical and decision-making support for a Combatant Command security assistance program that provides equipment and training. Support management of multi-billion-dollar program from requirements generation to procurement and delivery of equipment, training, and services. Lead interagency panels and coordinate policy and technical reviews and congressional notifications. Provide oversight of and expertise on all Department of Defense security assistance to enable Combatant Command response to requests for information. 

                                                                                                                                

Basic Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience with the military or government

• Experience with US government security cooperation programs and planning processes

• Experience with combined bi-lateral or multi-lateral security cooperation planning with Allies or partners

• Experience with using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Experience in working with DoD and field security cooperation offices, including offices of defense cooperation

• Knowledge of Combatant Command campaigning and campaign planning, including country-level planning

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in working with or for Department of State foreign assistance program offices

• Experience with project management

• Experience with assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and institutional capacity building

• Ability to self-manage

• Ability to determine focus and workflow despite competing priorities

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

• Master's degree in International Affairs or Public Policy

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
