Signature Reduction Technician

Key Role:
Provide technical expertise in signature reduction to DoD organizations in Europe, including AFRICOM. Analyze the development of annexes and other correspondence for staffing and approval while maintaining expertise in established plans to ensure they support current and future operations. Develop and maintain relationships at higher, lateral, and interagency elements to support staffing and approval of development plans. Provide direct support in the form of requests, management, and deactivation of required support, including interacting with operational and support personnel to ensure appointments and other tasks related to direct support are met. Develop and gain DoD certification, present operational user training to Command users, as required, and perform organizational, individual, and operational due diligence in support of the program. Conduct due diligence per DoD policy and programs to maintain plans, mechanisms, and travel awareness on all aspects of the program, as required. Write and manage due diligence products, including ensuring aspects of the signature reduction program are functioning as designed while incorporating lessons learned into the development process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with signature reduction efforts supporting intelligence or military operations
  • Knowledge of all aspects of worldwide sensitive activities and employment of signature reduction requirements
  • Knowledge of DoD polices on signature reduction and special access programs controls and procedures as well as document control and accountability
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and evaluate policies, programs, standards, and procedures to meet classified mission requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately both verbally and in writing
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Graduate of the Advanced Technicians Course or the Advanced Planners Course

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Combatant or Joint Command
  • Experience with a Cyber Advanced Support Operation
  • Experience with supporting Special Operations, Counterintelligence, or HUMINT
  • Graduate of the Due Diligence Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
