Software and Systems Engineer

Key Role:
Manage the engineering support for all the processes and activities of agile software development. Apply specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge to impact the intelligence community's systems. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of client's challenges of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently and help to review or guide the activities of junior employees.


Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience in leading and supporting IT management, systems planning, installation, or configuration and working with senior-level client management
-5+ years of experience with Python, R, or JavaScript
-Experience in working with one or more database structures, including relational, NoSQL, and graph
-Experience with cleaning, filtering, and transforming data and enriching data, especially by way of database joins or table lookups
-Experience with providing technical guidance to IT development teams
-Knowledge of multi-intelligence applications, including COP/CIP systems, including ESRI or GCCS-J
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with application management and providing high availability and resilient solutions using clustering, failover, or other methods
-Experience in working with coalition partners to develop IT solutions for intelligence problems
-Experience with programming access and the manipulation of data
-Knowledge of Information Assurance compliance with specified standards, including DoD STIGs or ICD 503
-Knowledge of agency or intelligence community (IC) and IT infrastructures
-Knowledge of current technology trends for the potential application of current and emerging technology solutions to meet client requirements
-Ability to brief client leadership and colleagues on the results of research both verbally and in writing
-Possession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skills
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Scrum Master Certification
-Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
