Strategic Logistics Assessment Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct life cycle supportability analysis, planning, and project execution for acquisition, modification, and upgrade of weapons and information systems and equipment. Conduct planning support for deployment and operational sustainment by assessing techniques to plan, coordinate, and synchronize movement of material, people, and commodities from source to destination. Support clients in implementing Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, design interface, sustaining engineering, supply support, maintenance planning and management, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), technical data, support equipment, training and training support, manpower and personnel, facilities and infrastructure, and computer resources. Analyze distribution plans and operations in a complex, dynamic environment to improve velocity, costs, and unique customer requirements. Develop in-transit asset visibility solutions and analyze and optimize load plans, cargo scheduling, mode selection, and packaging. Support modeling and simulation techniques to forecast transportation, shipping, and receiving requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with military or government logistics

-5+ years of experience with Joint Logistics operations and planning

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Experience with documenting lessons learned and conducting assessments

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)

-Experience with complex problem-solving and using relevant methodologies

-Command and General Staff College qualifications and training
