Strategy Planning and Capabilities Analyst

Key Role:

Provide analysis and technical assistance to inform a Combatant Command's implementation of national defense and national military strategies. Support leadership and staff participation in evolving Joint Staff processes and the execution of coordinating authority responsibilities. Leverage Joint Staff-directed information systems, including Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), to gain awareness of relevant operations, activities, and investments by other Combatant Commands. Analyze the development and coordination of presentations, papers, and other products for client events and Congressional and Distinguished Visitor engagements.  Manage the client's Section 1251 authority to support the training of eligible European allies and partner nations and provide advice on the administration of a strategic activities program. Support bilateral joint planning and coordination mechanisms with selected allies.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with military and government

-Experience with Joint Staff work, including operational or campaign planning or European regional affairs

-Experience with strategic planning and security cooperation

-Experience with the European AOR

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-MS degree preferred
