Threat SME

Key Role:

Support the strategic analysis of threat actors and nation-state competitors in relation to promoting and protecting national interests. Conduct methodical research and provide empirical evidence on how threat actors and nation-state competitors alike affect the achievement of campaign plan objectives. Evaluate the operational environment by analyzing threats in the context of campaign plans to determine how their capability and intent affects strategic objectives. Refine large volumes of data to produce high-fidelity, highly distilled, and qualitative results. Communicate findings in writing and verbal communication clearly, concisely, and effectively and organize, plan, and author finished analysis reports.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with strategic analysis and evaluating threat actors and nation-state competitors to promote and protect national interests

-Experience in irregular warfare (IW) or unconventional warfare (UW), counter threats, counter weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) operations, or security cooperation (SC) authorities

-Ability to quickly assimilate into and contribute to a multi-functional team

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a field-grade officer or chief warrant officer

-Possession of excellent research, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in International Relations, Political Science, or related field
