Military Supply Analyst

Key Role:

Analyze, recommend, and develop ground supply metrics that assist with managing client's units' supply readiness, property accountability posture, and requisition management. Produce and provide analysis of data metrics, including client's equipment property records, property configurations, root cause, and policy change recommendations. Analyze equipment levels across the enterprise and recommend cross-leveling aligned with equipment allowances, emerging operational requirements, and client priorities. Analyze and recommend initial issue activity commensurate with client priorities. Analyze and recommend reverse logistics of obsolete and excess equipment. Analyze equipment in support of contingencies, emergent equipment sets, and newly formed units and recommend internal and external sourcing to fulfill demand. Analyze the different facets of supply management for units and provide recommendations to improve and increase supply related compliancy, readiness, efficiency, and effectiveness. This position is located in Okinawa, Japan.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with DoD logistics and USMC supply
-Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
-Experience in USMC logistics systems with a heavy emphasis on GCSS-MC
-Experience in a FSMAO, SMAT, LRI, DAT, or CGRIP team
-Knowledge of policies, directives, and transactional actions associated with USMC logistics at the operational and strategic levels
-Ability to work with senior level staff members at the MEF level
-Secret clearance required
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with standard operating procedure development and management
-Experience with FSMAO, SMAT, DAT, or CGRIP programs
-Experience with continuous process improvement and industry best practices for supply and logistics chain management
-Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint a plus
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree preferred
-Green Belt trained in Lean/Six Sigma
