Ops Info and Knowledge Management Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Conduct logical analyses of management problems and management information requirements and formulate mathematical models of problems for solutions by computer. Prepare mathematical models of problem areas in one or several equations that relate constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters. Gather, relate, and identify data with variables in models by applying personal judgment and mathematical tests. Review operations and testing of models to ensure adequacy or determine needs for reformulation. Prepare written, non-technical reports for management, indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of preferability and probability of success. Work under supervision and perform work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character but usually involves limited responsibility.

Basic Qualifications: 

-3+ years of experience in a knowledge management or information management field

-Experience with advising personnel on classification, record retention, disposal schedules, and other information management processes

-Experience with common tactical picture design and monitoring

-Experience in an operations center

-Experience with computing, literacy, and numeracy in an administrative environment, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to standards

-Knowledge of classification standards and Privacy Act regulations for document management

-Ability to administer an electronic document management system, including SharePoint

-Ability to analyze the development of plans and policies associated with information management and communicate an implementation effectively to clients

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree

-Career-Level USMC formal schooling related to MAGTF Operations, including EWS preferred
