Training and Exercise Employment Plan Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide subject matter expertise and strategic analysis and planning for the annual training and exercise employment plan related fiscal issues and impacts and resulting readiness indicators, coordinating objectives and goals to achieve a high state of training readiness. Assist in developing, coordinating, and monitoring the execution of the Marine Corps total effective equipment performance (TEEP) in accordance with applicable references to contribute to enhancing attainment of Marine Corps training objectives. Assist in developing, updating, coordinating, and publishing the 2-year TEEP and 3-year training plan, annually, in accordance with established deadlines, including input to commanders’ conferences and fleet staff talks. Provide advice and assistance in support of Naval integration efforts and coordinate tasks with the Naval integration point of contact. Assist with command advocacy during conferences to ensure TEEP requirements are captured. Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure adherence to applicable orders and references and to incorporate procedural guidance and direction of the Marine expeditionary staff.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with exercise planning, execution, and supervision at the Marine Expeditionary Force of Major Subordinate Command level

-Experience in the Pacific Combatant Command area of responsibility

-Experience with Marine Corps operating concept and Naval integration

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel

-Knowledge of simple accounting, data management, e-mail, and internet usage

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree or 15+ years of experience with exercise planning

Additional Qualifications:

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
