Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Organize diverse groups to build shared a comprehension of space operations collaboration. Facilitate collective problem solving, analyze and implement new solutions and best practices through planning and executing supported exercises, wargames, and any supporting exercise events. Develop innovative solutions considering coalition partners, collaborators, and subordinate centers. Participate in data analysis to design accurate, and realistic exercise materials that result in improved organizational mission performance. Deliver exercise events that allow clients to identify process initiatives and confirm viability of procedures. Monitor practice and execution of those processes and procedures to confirm understanding of their effect.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in operational and technical military planning, development, coordination, and execution of Joint, Coalition and Service participation in Combatant Command operations, exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and real-world space operations
  • Experience with exercise planning
  • Knowledge of Combatant Command planning processes and Joint Publication 5-0 and Joint Publication 3-14
  • Knowledge of the Joint Training Management Systems
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as staff at a Major Command
  • Experience in the major space missions or centers, including CSpOC, MWC, JNWC, or JOPC
  • BA or BS degree
