Key Role:

Work as a full-stack JavaScript developer to build a system that will modernize, secure and create efficiency for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to empower the intelligence community (IC) to gain insight and value from their big data holdings. Solve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. Utilize advanced skills needed to build a large-scale, data-centric platform for ISR analysts from vision to a production-ready system. Utilize in-depth JavaScript and Java expertise to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Work with a wide range of technologies, including Java, Node.js, React, Docker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Analyze the needs and the environment to ensure the solution considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basis Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience with back-end technologies, including Java, Go, Node.JS, Python, or Ruby, and front-end technologies, including React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Python or Bash scripting, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with working in a cloud environment, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience in working with a relational database and NoSQL database
• Experience with MQ, Rabbit MQ, or Kinesis
• Knowledge of object-oriented principles and writing clean code
• Ability to work closely with operations to build and scale back-end services
• Secret clearance
• BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with developing multi-threaded and synchronization application
• Experience with creating DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch
• Experience with virtualization, load balancing, distributed systems, and networking
• Experience with massive data storage, Hadoop, and MapReduce
• Experience with Kubernetes or Openshift
• Top Secret clearance
• MS degree

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $130,000 to $140,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
