Advertising Strategist

 Key Role:

Contribute to the future of Booz Allen by developing a scalable paid media program and run digital-first corporate campaigns that drive demand generation to strengthen Booz Allen’s brand, reputation, and revenue. Leverage expertise in crafting, executing, and measuring print and digital marketing strategies. Work closely with cross-functional business leads, corporate and account-based marketers, and creative, media, and technical or channel strategists to establish objectives, develop strategic plans, and guide content and tactics across multiple channels to target audiences that drive successful business outcomes. Use data and insights to both evaluate tactics and campaigns and drive strategy. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends, methods, and technologies and provide thought leadership and guidance. Drive the evolution of integrated platforms, advertising technology, audience engagement, and analytics. Serve as a member of corporate affairs to help contribute to a talented team, further marketing, and analytics functions, and support the development of holistic campaigns that help Booz Allen architect the future.


Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with developing enterprise print and digital paid media strategies to drive business results

-Experience with building and executing advertising campaigns across multiple, concurrent priorities using an integrated mix of digital and print at an enterprise level using matrixed resources

-Experience with developing advertising campaigns, including display or retargeting, video, mobile, search engine marketing (SEM), social advertising, sponsored content, and print

-Experience with developing and implementing measurement frameworks for digital and print advertising campaigns, establishing goals and Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), and analyzing and reporting on insights to measure performance, drive strategy, and increase Return on Investment (ROI)

-Experience with using AdTech platforms and demand side platforms, including DoubleClick and Sizmek, and digital monitoring platforms, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Radian6, and Facebook Insights

-Experience with managing external agencies and media outlets for media buys and execution

-Knowledge of advertising strategy, design, and project management

-Knowledge of assessing and using marketing technologies and driving adoption of new tools and tactics to meet goals, improve processes, and increase the efficiency of marketing operations

-Ability to operate across an organization to build relationships to work with and influence diverse, multiple stakeholders at various levels of seniority

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with business to business (B2B) and business to government (B2G) marketing

-Experience with digital marketing strategy in a consulting, professional services, or agency environment

-Experience with driving transformation of digital strategies, technologies, processes, or resourcing for an enterprise

-Ability to work well individually and in a collaborative team environment and multi-task across multiple projects and clients to effectively manage priorities

-Ability to be a strategic thinker with an insatiable thirst for learning about and educating others on the latest digital tools, processes, and best practices

-MA or MBA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or Digital Marketing

-Advertising, Digital Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Marketing Automation, Demand Generation, Facebook Blueprint, or Google Ads Certification
