The Opportunity:

As a Scrum Master, you know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a Scrum Master like you to help us accomplish critical tasks that will modernize IC client cyber security infrastructure.

On our team, you’ll utilize industry best practices to solve exceptionally complex, inter-discipline, inter-organizational, and sizable client challenges. You'll work individually and as a key member of a contract delivery leadership team. You'll oversee and monitor performance across several disciplines and when required, take steps to resolve issues. You'll provide expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior-level technicians and managers and direct multiple contractor and subcontractors teams through to project completion. As a Scrum Master on our team, you will grow your experience in tactical planning and delivery while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will improve data protection and security for our client. You’ll facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Resolve resource conflicts between scrum teams. Connect with management and stakeholders on the status of the projects and organize activities for the development team such as meetings and work schedules.

You Have:  

  • 7+ years of experience with Agile project management, lean development principles, and Scrum practices, including point estimations, sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and requirements gathering sessions

  • Experience with leading teams, client delivery, de-conflicting sprint goals and requirements, and facilitating internal and external stakeholder meetings in both virtual and in-person environments

  • Experience prioritizing tasks for multiple teams working separate workstreams, to expedite the delivery of project milestones and feature releases

  • Experience utilizing tools to analyze Epic, Feature, and Story data, driving high performance across teams 

  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and IaC/CaC

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED and 14+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum projects or activities, Associate’s degree and 12+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum projects or activities, Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum projects or activities, or Master's degree and 8+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum projects or activities

  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND, within 30 days of hire

  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) or Infrastructure Support (IS) Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND, within 60 days of hire

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment  

  • Experience with Agile project management tools, including JIRA and Confluence  

  • Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust to shifting priorities

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills  

  • Bachelor's degree

  • ICAgile Certified Professional, ScrumAlliance Certified Scrum Master, PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner, or SAFe Program Consultant Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
