Engineering Project Manager

Key Role:

Provides mechanical engineering and programmatic support for the development, testing, and integration of complex Defense systems. Oversees the design, evaluation, and production of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. Assists with the technical planning, execution, and maintenance of production programs and supply base. Serves as lead for managing key stakeholder communications, traveling to suppliers to support development and production milestones. Provides critical test support and develops reports on findings and recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a engineering discipline

  • Experience in managing cost, schedule and performance of complex engineering programs

  • Ability to develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and develop programmatic recommendations

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in systems engineering processes and risk management

  • Experience in production or manufacturing engineering

  • Knowledge of DoD acquisitions, processes, and policies

  • Secret clearance

  • Master's degree
