Cyber and LVC Mission Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Provide specific IT advisory support and technical oversight to DoD clients in the planning and execution of training events using the full spectrum of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training techniques. Provide event planning and technical support for the execution of LVC system modernization and technical refresh goals. Design, implement, and maintain strategic, multi-disciplinary IT programs in support of a corporate strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with configuring software and host operating systems and other cybersecurity and IA requirements, including updates, patches, and virus scans to support IAW DoD IA policy

-Knowledge of providing technical documentation of system changes, modifications and upgrades to key LVC constructive and virtual simulators including ASCOT, NGTS, and MACE

-Knowledge of basic networking principles

-Ability to assist with the coordination and implementation of technology upgrades, including drafting Authority to Operate documentation

-Ability to analyze and assess gaps in LVC technology, including DIS compliant environment generators, such as Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Training (ASCOT), voice simulators, such as SONOMARC, data link systems, and network components

-Ability to provide real-time technical support during LVC training events and research and development testing

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-Knowledge of the Windows 10 computing environment

-Knowledge of Linux

-Ability to coordinate scheduling activities to ensure maximum use of LVC networks and systems
