C-IED Operations and Training Exercises Planner

Key Role: 

Define and develop campaign plan and training objectives to improve survivability and reduce the risk associated with vulnerabilities from IEDs and other emerging threats. Coordinate with Unified Action Partners and multinational partner nations on shared exercise and training issues. Analyze and develop training objectives for command level wargames and exercises. Assist unit commanders and operations staff to integrate theatre-specific C-IED and emerging threat training into Home Station Training, field training, pre-mission training, combined training center rotations, and Joint and combined exercises. Analyze planning, integration, execution, and coordination of C-IED activities and emerging threat training across the supported command. This position requires travel throughout Europe.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with US military

-3 years of experience with C-IED Explosive Ordnance Disposal programs and activities

-Experience with working on a Division or Army Service Component staff

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with C-IED Operations and Training, BA or BS degree and 6 years of experience with C-IED Operations and Training, or MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience with C-IED Operations and Training

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with operating in a multinational environment

-Graduate of the US Navy Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal School or the Bureau of Tobacco and Firearms Hazardous Devices School
