Operations and Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Support large-scale exercise planning as part of an Army Service Component Command staff. Provide full spectrum Joint Exercise life cycle planning support to United States Army Europe exercises. Analyze the development of plans to integrate Army, Joint, and multinational communications requirements to support offensive, defensive, and stability tasks based on the commander's guidance. Assist with planning theater requirements for support and coordinate with Combatant Commands, services, and agencies for the allocation of requisite resources. Liaise between commands and represent the command during exercises and plans.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with operations planning and development

-3+ years of experience with writing operational plans and annexes

-2+ years of experience working with multinational partner nations

-2 years of experience with operating at the Army Service Component Command level or above

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree and 6 years of specialized experience or MA or MS degree and 3 years of specialized experience or 10 years of specialized experience in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College or Service
