Information Operations and Communication Strategy Analyst

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience working in the Department of Defense as a member of the military, civilian, or contractor in a headquarters command

  • 3+ years of experience in information operations with USMC

  • 3+ years of experience in Joint or USMC Communication Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT)

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, developing PowerPoint slides, and presenting to or briefing senior leadership

  • Experience with Information Operations

  • Experience planning, executing, and fusing multiple information disciplines, including MISO, MILDEC, OPSEC, PA, and CAO at the operational or strategic level

  • Ability to be a highly flexible self-starter and operate in a high-tempo environment under less-than-ideal time-management conditions

  • Ability to manage planning efforts for multiple events simultaneously

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a DoD Public Affairs component

  • 2+ years of experience with military planning processes, including Marine Corps Planning Process, Military Decision-Making Process, or Joint Planning Process

  • Knowledge of Joint, Naval, and USMC doctrine and capabilities

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps' roles, missions, capabilities, and structure

  • Knowledge of the USAFRICOM and USEUCOM Areas of Responsibility

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or International Relations

  • Completion of the Defense Information School Public Affairs and Communication Strategy Qualification Course (PACS-QC), Information Operations Qualification Course (IOQC), Joint Military Deception Training Course, Military Deception Planners Course, or Psychological Operations (PSYOP) training

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
