HR Business Partner, Lead

Key Role:

Act as a key contributor and functional expert providing HR advisory support across aligned sectors. Partner closely with business leads and act as a primary HR point of contact to global employees present in the UK and Europe. Serve as an integrator with local leadership to address emerging needs by generating innovative ideas, solutions, and intellectual capital or process improvements across the region. Conduct ER intake calls and escalate as appropriate to Employee Relations and Investigation teams. Advise managers and leaders on how to address performance or behavior concerns, implement talent improvement strategies, and ensure continuous monitoring. Coach managers and leaders on workplace issues such as delivering and documenting feedback, performance improvement plans, severance, and disciplinary actions, and partner with Legal as needed. Manage day to day HR actions pertaining to resignations, reviewing disclosure management, delivery of disciplinary actions, completing HR compliance requests from COEs, updating case management tools and region related agreements, researching, and responding to HR related queries in case management tools. Partner with the People Relations (PR) team to provide expertise and guidance during time sensitive emergency situations such as death, missing employee, emotional wellness issues, and natural disasters, and with various COEs to drive process and initiative development, refinement, and execution. Be responsible for local visa paperwork and documentation. Ideate and conduct manager training in partnership with PR and COEs based on feedback from clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations
  • Experience handling Employee Relations and workplace conflict issues
  • Experience with the HR performance management life cycle or process from start to finish
  • Experience with United States laws and regulations
  • Experience applying HR concepts, principles, laws, regulations, and practices
  • Experience using the Workday HRIS platform and Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Experience with relationship building, networking, and influencing key stakeholders 
  • Experience with project management, change management, and program execution
  • Experience with mid to large-size organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner role, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience in an HR Business partner role
