Senior Capture Manager, Director

Key Role:

Serve as a Senior Capture Manager engaging with program managers, senior leaders, the acquisition community, and DoD clients to shape acquisition opportunities for work across the DoD community to support the NSS Growth team. Leverage senior-level leadership and extensive community relationships in the defense industry and with government clients. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Drive major capture efforts from start to finish, lead capture efforts across a team, and support business staff in captures that are especially demanding. Serve as a mentor and guide to capture team members on capture process and business development, coordinate large-scale proposal efforts and firm-wide initiatives, and lead capture efforts that have a measurable impact on business growth. Maintain a broad and collaborative network across the firm.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with managing complex capture efforts within DoD or Intelligence Community

  • Experience as a capture manager supporting DoD customers

  • Experience with developing Cyber solutions for DoD and the Intelligence Community in the Cyber operational domain

  • Experience with executing all phases of a large, multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, shaping, teaming, proposals, and competitive analyses

  • Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and partners

  • Experience in proposal development and writing with organizations and program offices in the Department of Defense with a variety of acquisition sizes

  • Experience with leading teams, working through others, and getting results from teams that do not report directly to you

  • Ability to travel to other states to support customer visits and other program offices

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with DoD acquisition centers and Key Client Mission Stakeholders

  • Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners

  • Experience in briefing executives

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment

  • Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams, and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $181,100.00 to $337,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
