As an Exercise Scenario Design and Readiness Analyst, you'll bring your training and readiness background to plan and execute Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF)-level certification exercises for Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU), or other designated units. You will use your tactical and operational experience, to design exercises to support training and readiness objectives. You will apply your knowledge of military planning processes to draft Exercise Directives, Base Orders, Annexes, such as Operations, Intelligence, and Fires, and the Master Scenario Events List which will drive units to improve their individual and unit readiness. You Have:
5+ years of experience with planning, coordinating, and executing of Joint operations, exercises, activities, or real-world operations
2+ years of experience in developing exercise scenarios that support training objectives and individual and unit readiness
Experience in military staff operations, including formal planning processes, such as JPP, MDMP, MCPP, or R2P2 and information management, conducting training assessments, and developing measures of proficiency and effectiveness,
Knowledge of interagency coordination with State Department crisis operations to support the scenario development of Title 22 exercises, including Noncombatant Emergency Operations (NEO), Embassy Reinforcement, and Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (FHA)
Ability to operationalize the intelligence cycle through the design and development of exercise scenarios
Ability to brief senior leaders on exercise concepts of design and scenario
Ability to travel up to 10% of the year

Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
2+ years of experience with development, coordination, and execution of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
2+ years of experience with managing the curriculum of a Service-level school or program of instruction
Experience as an Operations Officer at the squadron or battalion level staff
Experience in coordinating and facilitating military exercises at general or flag officer-levels
Knowledge of Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) management
Knowledge of doctrinal Opposing Force capabilities to build realistic and accurate threat scenarios
Knowledge of Joint maritime, air, and amphibious operations
Knowledge of USAID and other intergovernmental and interagency crisis response planning processes
Knowledge of USMC Service-level doctrine related to Marine Expeditionary unit training, and employment
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
