We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. You will serve as part of a team of deployment, resourcing, and support experts.
This role is an essential part of the United States effort to build a persistent forward presence in the theater. You will assist a DoD client in establishing and maintaining an enduring knowledge management and information systems architecture, for a dispersed workforce, operating in a non-standard, OCONUS location, in a bilateral setting on a rotational basis. You'll provide varying levels of support from early identification of personnel needing systems support, training, and deployment, to managing emerging systems issues, to customer support, process improvement, and facilitate support for information systems operations for U.S. service members entering and departing the region. You will assist personnel with onboarding, movement, and operational activities, ensuring a positive and seamless experience joining and acclimating to the forward unit. You'll establish knowledge management procedures, conduct in-country coordination for personnel support, communicate with forward entities, and support crisis-action duties and responsibilities.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with supporting knowledge management operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems
Experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory
Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as necessary
Ability to travel quarterly into the Indo-Pacific region
Ability to install, configure, and operate workstation, telephony, video, and mobile hardware and software, including more established communications, such as sat phone, as required
Ability to resolve escalated teams and member issues quickly, efficiently, and within policy guidelines
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Azure
Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering concepts
Ability to be flexible, exercise initiative, innovate, and take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical solutions can be defined
Ability to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced international environment with culturally diverse groups
Ability to prepare and modify documents, including correspondence, drafts, and emails
Ability to maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
