Job Description
Key Role:
Conduct analysis, provide recommendations, and support staff planning for the participation in Army Futures Command, wargames, working groups, exercise planning, and staff processes in support of command objectives. Determine operational feasibility of, and subsequent planning for, integration of existing and emerging technologies, capabilities, Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedure (TTP) into division, corps, and theater level exercises and experimentation opportunities throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Execute independent decisions within established guidelines and ensure appropriate level of discretion while handling highly sensitive and confidential data. Coordinate with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), Army, sister services and U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and subordinate commands. Support deliberate force-modernization planning and provide recommendations for inclusion of future technologies topics. May be called upon to represent Concepts Division during OPTs, IPRs, AARs, war games, conferences, and meetings timed to allow for maximal participation across multiple time zones. Plan and manage events that allow clients to discuss emerging technologies, capabilities, CONOPs, and TTPs, including tabletop exercises (TTX), In-Progress Reviews (IPR), and After-Action Reports (AAR).
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with operations at the Army Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel level
5+ years of experience with tactical or operational planning at the division, corps, or theater level
Experience with the military decision-making process (MDMP) at the Joint level or Service Specific
Experience writing reports and briefing senior military officers
Experience developing plans of actions and milestones
Experience with the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
Experience with Microsoft office products
Knowledge of the Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) or service equivalent
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the Army
Experience with Joint tests and experimentation
Experience with Science and Electronic warfare
Experience with joint targeting cycle and associated network considerations
Knowledge of Army modernization plans and processes
Knowledge of multi-domain operations doctrine
Master’s degree
Graduate of Advanced Military Studies School
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
