Key Role:
Reports to the Vice President of Engineering Solutions, providing senior technical leadership for Booz Allen’s Engineering Solutions team at a flagship facility. Focuses on scaled activities and the advancement of prototypes to production and help oversee a significant segment of our firmwide hardware and integration labs. Works with a group of engineers and technicians dedicated to the development and implementation of scaled engineering and manufacturing solutions for defense R&D and operational missions. Works closely with 2 peer engineering flagship leaders and R&D lab leaders to ensure the most optimal use of resident capabilities to achieving successful solutions while balancing inter-facility utilization. Maintains responsibility for hiring and development of technical staff, equipment selection and acquisition, asset sharing, strong quality control and quality assurance, and enforcement of standardization and processes. Engages and works closely with market and technical team peers across the company, as well as external clients, to develop and maintain appropriate capacity, ensure safety, ensure quality, help drive new business growth, and contribute to business development activities. Maintains risk and process-oversight responsibility for a designated group of smaller engineering capability labs in the U.S. to ensure consistent quality, safety, staffing, re-use, material and inventory control, cost management, interoperability, and performance. Supports work prioritization and loading, projects resource needs, provides and advocates for capability development foresight, and engages in business capture efforts. Provides novel technical solutions, oversee all phases of delivery and execution within the facility, and maintains responsibility for hiring, risk management, and successful technical performance. Develops, socializes, and executes business growth strategies to ensure growth of the facility.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience managing all aspects of a large technical facility with high-bay
- 10+ years of experience leading technically diverse, multi-discipline teams to successful delivery on complex engineering programs
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth
- 5+ years of experience working in a matrixed-staff environment and driving cultural change in the areas of standardized process, safety, and quality
- Experience standing up and overseeing Organizational Safety programs
- Knowledge of DoD government contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes as it relates to technical delivery
- Knowledge of materials management, logistics, and compliance requirements for DCMA, DCAA, and other critical agencies as it relates to technical delivery
- Ability to build and leverage internal relationships, and with the federal government and industry
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management role
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth
- Master's degree in Engineering Management
- Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
