Digital Transformation Consultant, Senior

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a digital transformation consultant who can identify an organization’s long-term goals, develop roadmaps, and execute implementation plans to achieve the preferred outcomes.   

As a digital transformation consultant, you’ll analyze and execute high impact approaches that cross organizational cultures, structures, policies, and processes to achieve game-changing digital transformation leading our clients into the future of work. You’ll work with a wide range of clients and agencies and advise clients on emerging technologies, including Cloud, data strategy, robotic process automation, and AI applications. You'll maintain responsibility for leading tasks and small teams and collaborating with colleagues from diverse teams and markets in support of IT strategic planning, IT policy, data and information management, IT industry research, and Organization Change Management. Explore, document, and detail how current business processes are supported by existing IT systems to define and implement digital strategies that improve overall business and mission performance. You'll serve as a liaison between technical development teams and non-technical client management audiences to ensure understanding and alignment of technical and business requirements. You’ll identify, describe, and recommend changes to current and new system features and functionality to improve overall business and mission performance and develop and refine Enterprise IT roadmaps and modernization plans and the associated implementation plans. You'll facilitate technical strategy workshops with business process owners, system stakeholders, and end users to facilitate decision making for IT modernization activities and lead the collection and consolidation of business requirements to recommend best of breed technologies for enterprise. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-phased digital enterprise solutions through a focus on process analysis, data transformation, and pragmatic change management

  • Experience providing strategic guidance to a corporate development team focused on leveraging existing IT consulting service offerings to build a new commercial business unit

  • Experience with digital strategy, IT project management, enterprise architecture, SDLC, or transformation

  • Ability to lead the coordination of requirements meetings or conduct requirements workshops and sessions with both business and IT stakeholders

  • IRS Suitability

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the business development life cycle, including leading or providing significant support to proposal or marketing efforts

  • Experience supporting the development of enterprise-level IT strategies

  • Experience working as a master deck writer, artifact author, pitch presenter, public speaker, and facilitator of diverse audiences and complex topics

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies

  • Ability to translate technical requirements into a compelling business vision

  • Ability to build context dashboards and information radiators for tracking progress, and compile and quality check robust methodologies that streamline client decision making

  • Ability to take pride in the craft of storytelling

Vetting:

Applicants selected must possess an active IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI) and meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client of an IRS MBI; IRS Suitability is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
