Entra ID Architect

Key Role:

Develop and manage a Single Sign-On solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Maintain responsibility for overseeing the integration and secure data exchange between mission partners and the VA's identity management systems. Leverage knowledge and expertise in Entra ID solutions to lead the technical delivery team and bring value to the VA client. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with VA's identity management policies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SSO solutions

• Experience with implementing Identity solutions in cloud and developing scripts using Python, Jython, Java, Shell Scripts on Linux systems and in implementing security services on cloud solutions

• Experience with Entra ID as a cloud architect that includes designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise scale solutions and security systems

• Experience as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an environment for coordinating technical efforts and resolving issues across multiple teams

• Experience with using various technologies such as REST, Web API, SQL, ORM, IoC, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, or CI/CD

• Knowledge of Kerberos and NTLM authentication, MFA, SSO, and federation technologies

• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and of Certificate, CA, and PKI infrastructure

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in an agile delivery team

• Experience with presenting technical briefs to senior leadership

• Experience with encryption and key management tools, processes, and procedures

• Experience with scripting

• Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST 800-63

• Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) or AWS Certified Security Specialty certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
